On Saturday, 20 June, the Rawspace team with three honorary members, took part with around 70 others to complete a 26.3 mile stand-up paddle boarding marathon on the Thames, travelling from Shepperton to Putney. The trip took approximately 9 and a half hours with several stops for rest and recuperation. The money raised is going to St Mark’s Hospital Foundation – they work to raise awareness of and find new treatments for bowel disease. We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to take part, and very grateful to those who sponsored our team. Below are some photos from the day, including a team photo at the finish line. All in all it was an amazing challenge and a great day on the water, and with only two of our team actually falling in the river a very successful trip!
